ART PROGRAM PROPOSALS

Our gallery has featured (top left-bottom right) photography by Tim Schreiner, Dick Termes’ Termespheres, sculpture by Tasha Determan, works by Jacq Johns, and Native American artwork accompanying the documentary We Are a Horse Nation.

OUR SPACES

The Coyote Gallery features 90 linear square feet of wall space (click here for diagram) and is suitable for display of visual art, small-scale receptions, performances, and workshops. We also have 2 auditorium spaces, one that seats ?? with a side aisle and stadium seating, and one that seats ?? with a center aisle and a more intimate setting. Both auditoriums have a movie screen and digital projector, stage and microphone capabilities. Space use is overseen by the program and executive directors of the Vermillion Cultural Association, maintained by the manager and staff of the Coyote Twin Theater, and often retains the help of volunteers. You can learn more by previewing our program agreement.

Proposal Submissions

Our program calendar is planned well in advance, though opportunities due to cancellations do occasionally arise. We primarily work with teaching and performance artists from the Vermillion area and South Dakota but welcome visiting artists in conjunction with university, community, or national events.

You are invited to send additional representative media of your work and a full artist CV to events@vermculture.org after submitting this proposal.
