EXHIBITION PROPOSALS

Our gallery has featured (top left-bottom right) photography by Tim Schreiner, Dick Termes’ Termespheres, sculpture by Tasha Determan, works by Jacq Johns, and Native American artwork accompanying the documentary We Are a Horse Nation.

OUR GALLERY

The Coyote Gallery features 90 linear square feet of wall space (click here for diagram) and is suitable for display of visual art, small-scale receptions, performances, and workshops. The gallery is overseen by the executive director of the Vermillion Cultural Association, maintained by the manager and staff of the adjacent Coyote Twin Theater, and often retains the help of volunteers. You can learn more by previewing our exhibition agreement.

Proposal Submissions

Our exhibition calendar is planned well in advance, though opportunities due to cancellations do occasionally arise. We primarily showcase art from Vermillion-area and South Dakota artists but welcome exhibitions from visiting artists in conjunction with university, community, or national events.

You are invited to send representative photos of your work and a full artist CV to support@vermilliontheaters.com after submitting this proposal.
